Tú seguiste jactándote de tu fuerza y tu sabiduría.
English:
thou didst go on unto boasting in thy strength and thy wisdom.
- seguiste : seguir
To me this is interesting because the 'seguir' or 'to follow' is used to convey the phrase 'go on unto' using the preterite form of the verb.

Had to remind myself of what a preposition is.
Did some web searching and found this awesome site about grammar.
Spanish:
quisiera que te arrepintieses y abandonases tus pecados, y no te dejases llevar más por las concupiscenciasde tus ojos
English:
I would that ye should repent and forsake your sins, and go no more after the lusts of your eyes
The confusing part was "no te dejases llevar" or according to Google translate, "do not let yourself go".
- no te dejases :
- te dejases : you left
- dejases : you leave
- dejarse : let
Believe that this is reflexive verb which my favorite Spanish verb conjugation site says is not a verb infinitive.
Not really sure what I do for the conjugation of this verb. Probably need to ask Dolores about this.

English:
The Lord promised Nephi that he would be blessed because of his faith. He would become a leader over his brothers.
